My first venture into painting using only oils, a departure from my usual acrylics. I’ve walked the full length of Sisters beach many times over the few years I lived there, and witnessed the spectacular sight of the sun rising directly behind the Sisters Beach island. Therefore, I wanted to capture those early moments just before the sun appears in this artwork.
