Ulverstone, a charming town on the Northwest coast of Tasmania, holds a special place in my heart as it is where I grew up with my family. The Leven River serves as a defining feature of the township, flowing through and dividing the east and west sides. Having lived on both sides and even right next to the river, I wanted to capture its essence in the painting.' While the painting is my own interpretation, I added elements of romance to enhance the scene. The cobblestone footpath and old-fashioned park lights were imagined additions to the view, inspired by the charm and nostalgia that Ulverstone holds for me. Original Sold
